Nasty...

A nasty cold
Head stuffed up
Nose is in the on position
Can I be nice ?
Lord help me I am trying.
Back and forth with the FEELING thing.
Reminded of the evil of the heart.

There It is...

Brothers think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards;
Not many of you were influential; Not many were of noble birth; But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things that are. So that no one may boast before him. It is because of him you are in Christ Jesus who has become for us the wisdom from God-that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore as it is written  "let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

Moving right along...

The school has been chosen.
The Lord has provided the extra income.
Going all the way.
The school bus.
The tent.
The church.
God will make a way when there seems to be no way...

Do You Love it ?

As your walking down the street and the smile of a stranger as you meet,
Do you Love it ?
The garden that you grow,
Do you love it ?
The moon, the stars above, the river, lakes and seas,
Do you Love it ?
As you look around and see, the Glory of the Father who Loves you and me,
Do you Love it ?
As the green grass grows and the need for you to mow,
Do you Love it ?
The little pets that we call friend,
Do you Love it ?
New babies who change lives,
The Love of a husband and a wife,
Do you Love it ?
The sound of Sunday church bells ring,
In the sanctuary Gods people sing,
Do you Love it ?
Meeting new and old friends,
Praying for others who need some help,
Do you Love it ?
Filling your mind with Godly things,
The teaching Pastor,
The wedding ring,
Do you Love it ?
The ordinary everyday things,
Do you Love it ?

I didn't kow it.
I knew that maybe I was lucky or just survived this and that.
As the years passed it was evident some things were more than coincidence.
Looking back I see a Big God with a Big Love.
He was there !!!
The roar.
The protection.
The patience.
The teacher.
The LOVE...

The Whisper:  I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Scared Straight

If you were a teen in the 70's and 80"s that was the great fix for those who were not absolutely obedient.
Just like all the other programs that claim freedom if you take these 12 steps for anything from alcohol and drugs to food and sex.
I have found that the only answer to freedom from bondage is JESUS!!
Hiding behind that and trying to sneek a God relationship on others DOES NOT WORK...
Some of these programs have great suggestions
It is my personal opinion that we should be open and honest about how we can  be overcomers.
Years of struggle and frustration gone in the blink of an eye...
