I didn't kow it.
I knew that maybe I was lucky or just survived this and that.
As the years passed it was evident some things were more than coincidence.
Looking back I see a Big God with a Big Love.
He was there !!!
The roar.
The protection.
The patience.
The teacher.
The LOVE...

The Whisper:  I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Scared Straight

If you were a teen in the 70's and 80"s that was the great fix for those who were not absolutely obedient.
Just like all the other programs that claim freedom if you take these 12 steps for anything from alcohol and drugs to food and sex.
I have found that the only answer to freedom from bondage is JESUS!!
Hiding behind that and trying to sneek a God relationship on others DOES NOT WORK...
Some of these programs have great suggestions
It is my personal opinion that we should be open and honest about how we can  be overcomers.
Years of struggle and frustration gone in the blink of an eye...

The Call

In this world you will have trouble
As I have been searching for answers and old wounds have surfaced, the pains of those suffering loss and injury and heartbreak bring some answers as to how we each differantly act and react to the loss and disappointments in life.
I can only say had I known JESUS life may have been very differant.
The committment to serve and share the Love of Christ is essential for the rest of my days.
I do not want to miss the opportunity to share that ever again!!!!

Sometimes when we touch

We Pray and make our requests known.
We are asking, seeking, believing and trusting God as he leads us.
We have been qualified by Christ and the Cross.

I Remember

A quick trip to walmart that leads to a trip down memory lane.
As we approach the exit I go straight ahead instead of taking the turn back to our camper. My husband looks at me puzzled and asks where are you going? We reach the old buildings with bars on the windows and a haunting eerie feeling overcomes him and he asks what is this place? I reach into my soul and explain that this is the grounds of the Yankton state hospital. I was brought here when I was 12 or 13 years old, probes strapped to my head, my mother seeking an excuse and a diagnosis so she could explain away everything because I was crazy... She asking Dr. about sterilization seeking to end any hope of my having children for I was to evil and vile and God help us If I reproduced. I had a big God looking after me and there was no diagnosis or any other procedures to follow just a Dr telling me I was ok and that he would never consider what my mother was seeking. As the memories overtake me my biggest question is why do I and did I Love this woman ? How can a mother ? I do not understand ..
